How to Deal with Difficult Bosses

There will often be times when you’ll have to deal with different types of difficult people. These people may be within your organization, such as employees, your peers, or your boss.
You must deal with these difficult people in a way that brings about the most significant impact from you and the areas you manage.

You have a different type of challenge when it is the boss, who is a difficult person. The wrong strategy for handling things with a difficult boss can negatively impact your career path.

Use the SBI approrach
Accept the following realities of addressing your boss’s behaviors with them:
- Your boss has the last word.
- Don’t go to battle with your boss over the little
- Don’t draw a line in the sand that, in the future, you will wish you had not drawn.
Communicate the sensitive subject of a boss’s behavior privately with the boss.
